Intense heat kills 5 people in Pakistan.

Temperature mounts to 49 degrees Celsius in some parts of Pakistan. The fierce heat waves killed about 5 people from different districts. It was recorded to be the highest temperature so far. 

It is reported that one man died in Sibi while 6-7 people fell unconscious as the temperature reached 49 degrees. About 4 children were lashed away in Tharparkar with the temperature elevating to about 49 degrees. Such intensity of heat was also recorded in Larkana district. Officials confirmed that eggs hatched to chickens in consumer shops at Karachi. According to official reports temperature rise was about 44 in Sialkot, 42 in Lahore, 45 in Turbat, 40 in Pasni and 39 in Quetta. 

While these areas bore torments of heat and anguish, rain and strong winds brought relief in Swabi and Haripur. Meteorological reports suggested that areas of Upper Punjab, Lower Sindh, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Peshawar, Kohat and Bannu would receive pre-monsoon rains with lightening and winds in the upcoming week.
